Throughout all my interactions with the people of Diamond Motoworks, the transaction was carried in cordial and professional terms. So I wanted it and I went ahead and paid the price, and boy am I happy! My car was priced at the avg price for this model/year/mileage given by Car Gurus. They’re not easily bargained down, in fact, they don’t much entertain bargaining discussions at the same time, they don’t attempt to overcharge you either. The folks at Diamond Motorworks know their products and know the value of their products. The car meets all expectations! It is exactly as advertised and it is a beauty! I took a leap of faith, talked to Sam, Sam did a face-time with me and the car, talked to Tyler at some point, communicated via email with Rami several times, wired the dollars, and got the car delivered to my house in CT. Not only was I NOT going to see this car (I live in CT) before buying it, but I needed to either finance it and pay them, or pay it in full using my own funds before the car got shipped out to me. I was reluctant because I never before bought a car without seeing and touching it. With some reluctance I decided to open a discussion with Diamond Motorworks in Lisle IL, because they had a 50th anniversary Corvette convertible (which I loved), up for sale. I wrote a simple proof of concept below showing how bad performance would be with a very simple dynamic execution in plpgsql. You would be much better off with some sort of macro system like m4. That means that indexes will not be used and joins will not be done intelligently. The popular answer suggesting querying the schema tables will not be able to run efficiently because the Postgres optimizer considers dynamic functions a black box (see the test case below). This has been a requested feature for decades and the developers refuse to implement it. In this tutorial, you have learned how to use the SQL Server NTILE() function to distribute rows of an ordered partition into a specified number of buckets. The real answer is that you just can not practically. Let’s create a view to demonstrate the NTILE() function. The following statement uses the NTILE() function to distribute rows into five buckets: SELECTĪs you can see, the output has five groups with the same number of rows in each. This statement uses the NTILE() function to divide ten rows into three groups: SELECTĪs clearly shown in the output, the first group has four rows and the other two groups have three rows. The following statement creates a new table named ntile_demo that stores 10 integers: CREATE TABLE sales.ntile_demo ( On the other hand, if the total of rows is divisible by the buckets, the function divides evenly the rows among buckets. The larger groups always come before the smaller group in the order specified by the ORDER BY in the OVER() clause. If the number of rows is not divisible by the buckets, the NTILE() function returns groups of two sizes with the difference by one. The ORDER BY clause specifies the logical order of rows in each partition to which the NTILE() is applied. The PARTITION BY clause distributes rows of a result set into partitions to which the NTILE() function is applied. The buckets can be an expression or subquery that evaluates to a positive integer. The number of buckets into which the rows are divided. Let’s examine the syntax in detail: buckets Ĭode language: SQL (Structured Query Language) ( sql ) The syntax of the NTILE() function is as follows: NTILE(buckets) OVER ( For each row in a group, the NTILE() function assigns a bucket number representing the group to which the row belongs. It assigns each group a bucket number starting from one. The SQL Server NTILE() is a window function that distributes rows of an ordered partition into a specified number of approximately equal groups, or buckets. Introduction to SQL Server NTILE() function Summary: in this tutorial, you will learn how to use the SQL Server NTILE() function to distribute rows of an ordered partition into a specified number of buckets. However now that you have made the suggestion that these are faulty readings, can you explain why the only appear against specific routers and never in respect of the TG router? For your suggestion to be applicable would imply that the monitor is selectively defective, rather than accepting the probability that these are rouge routers which are screwing with the wifi spectrum. Well given the tool has come highly recommended, I rather assumed I could rely on what it reports so I had not considered that specific router signal level reports could be a fault of the measurement tool. Have you considered the possibility that those huge high spikes are faulty readings and should be ignored? Rather than assuming it means what you want it to be to prove the only acceptable stance on these forums that there can't possibly be anything wrong with the 582n, and the problem must be those "rogue" other networks. But anyone managing a home or small business wireless network will certainly benefit from the information inSSIDer provides. Yes, it may be lightweight for those who deploy wireless networks professionally. So if you see many wireless networks in your area using channel 11 for example, by using inSSIDer you can change your access point or router to operate on channel 6 to tweak performance. The channels recommended to set access points on are 1, 6, and 11, because they don't overlap. You can also use inSSIDer to tweak your wireless channel. This is really useful if you are trying to setup a Wi-Fi network in a place with lots of thick walls, glass or mirrors or multiple levels. Position the device and then fire up inSSIDER to see what signal strength the software reports. For instance, say you are trying to find the best location to place an access point or router. What’s great about inSSIDer is that you can use it for several real-world purposes for your wireless network. I've also seen some posts on this forum where people have inadvertently been led to the inSSIDer Office software by a search and ended up being confused.Īlthough this appears to have been written about the free version, most of it will be true for the free version, their link in the full review goes to the paid version Īccording to metageek the new paid for version has minimum system requirements of 4GB RAM and net 3.5 Metageek have stopped any development of the free version and I can find no links on their websites to the previous free version. Culture Amp’s findings leave an indication that organizations shouldn’t solely focus on gender, but be more aware of intersectionality to build for the future. There are more latinx women entering the workforce than straight white men. The stage is set for Gen Z to become the most diverse workforce yet, both in demographics and intersectionality.įor every 100 straight white men exiting the workforce, there are 67 joining it. We’re seeing a massive influx of diversity across Gen Z, who are now the largest group entering the workforce. Gen Z is set to become the most diverse workforce. Only 44% of black women and 43% of latinx women feel included in the decision-making process at work – with 69% of white males reporting similarly. The report found that men, specifically straight white men, continue to have more impact in decision-making, share of voice, and advancement opportunities in business by a staggering margin. Although diversity and inclusion is a focus among many companies, Culture Amp found that the employee experience is still not equal, and continues to be dominated by straight white men. The male perspective continues to hold more weight in business decision-making. Key findings from Culture Amp’s 2019 Workplace Diversity, Inclusion & Intersectionality Report include: First, it is not just a survey - it is a complete end-to-end toolkit to drive action, and second, it directly delivers against our mission to improve the world of work in ways that go beyond merely building a software company.”Įlzinga continued, “Making our tools and best practices freely available will help countless organizations to begin or continue on their journeys towards being a better and more inclusive workplace, and to helping them to put ‘culture first.’“ĭuolingo’s Employee Experience Manager Elise Walton, a customer and frequent user of Culture Amp’s platform, shared, “One of the reasons we have been able to easily embed D&I practices in our workplace is because we are able to back it with data, like Culture Amp's Diversity & Inclusion survey.” It explores diversity by generation, employee experience by demographics, and the importance of intersectionality.Ĭulture Amp co-founder and CEO Didier Elzinga said, “Launching the Diversity & Inclusion Starter Kit is extremely important to us for two reasons. To underpin the global rollout of the Diversity & Inclusion Starter Kit, Culture Amp has also released its second Workplace Diversity, Inclusion & Intersectionality Report. It includes a science-backed diversity & inclusion survey, on-demand lessons and reporting to help uncover D&I insights within one’s own organization, and actionable tips to empower decision-makers in building meaningful programs from the ground up. The Diversity & Inclusion Starter Kit is a collection of tools to help companies navigate the process of building a holistic diversity & inclusion program. That starts by creating a culture focused on transparency, inclusion and respecting unique human experiences. We ended up photographing at Falmouth Harbor, downtown Woods Hole, and at the beach at Nobska Lighthouse, and at Nobska Light.
